Course Description
Learn Periodic Table for CBSE Class 10 online
The periodic table, or the periodic table of elements, is a tabular arrangement of the chemical elements, arranged by atomic number, electron configuration, and recurring chemical properties, whose structure shows periodic trends. Mendeleev arranged the elements in increasing order of their atomic masses and according to their chemical properties. Mendeleev even predicted the existence of some yet to be discovered elements based on gaps in his Periodic Table. The seven rows of the table, called periods, generally have metals on the left and non-metals on the right. The columns, called groups, contain elements with similar chemical behaviors.
